BDC Collegiate Program (6 Week)
BDC Collegiate Program (6 Week)
The BDC Summer College Program is a six-week development program designed by former Division 1 player and MLB Associate Scout built for college players who want to come back to campus in the fall with proof of improvement, not just a workout log. Every week, players are tested across the key measurables, and every result is posted to their BDC Player Profile on BaseballDataCombine.com so they — and their college coaches — can track progress across the summer. This can be a key help to being placed in a collegiate league beyond development and data collection for MLB Draft.
What You Get Each Week
Verified metrics dependant on position captured by technology trusted by Major League Baseball, updated on your Player Profile after every session:
- Pitching velocities
- Exit velocities
- Outfield velocities
- Infield velocities
- Catcher pop times
- 60-yard dash
Six testing dates over six weeks means six data points per metric — enough to see real trends, identify what’s working, and adjust your training before fall ball starts.
Training Facility Access
In addition to weekly testing, players receive access to facility for training between testing dates. [hours/days of access, TBD]
Why It Matters
- Train with a purpose. You’ll know exactly where you stand week one and exactly what you need to move by week six.
- Show your coaches, don’t tell them. Your Player Profile is publicly viewable with no subscription — send the link to your college staff and let the numbers speak.
- Stay on the radar. Every testing session feeds the Baseball Data Combine National Leaderboard, and standout performances may be featured on BDC social media.
- Verified, not self-reported. Coaches know the difference between “I hit 92 this summer” and a time-stamped 92 captured on MLB-trusted equipment.
